Jesus loves the little children

Today my heart got a rare but amazing blessing from my Lord. I was babysitting a friend's daughter over the school break and she and her family don't know Jesus at all. My little girl (she's 5) loves her friend so much, that she talked to her about church and Jesus, and praying all day. A little while before our friend was going to come to get his daughter, my little girl came to me and asked me how to help her friend accept Jesus into her heart.
AHH.... but for the precious, one-of-a-kind moments in life...

I thank my God for a little girl with such a beautiful spirit. It just reminds me of how real and how good God is, and how much he loves us. To hear the compassion in her voice and the willingness of my little girl to just go "and preach the gospel to the ends of the earth", blessed my heart to no end, and I just wanted to share it with all of you.

God bless you

Woot!

Woot!
I just made my first animated GIF all by myself! It may seem silly, but for someone who has always thought of myself as VERY left brained, I turned out to be mostly right brained.......I actually did something quite creative......

Thank you Jesus!  for giving me an ability that may help me speak to others for You :) Please let me use this new epiphany of a gift for you, always.

Thank you Jesus!

Last Sunday, our pastor was talking about the missions our church supports and it inspired me. I have always had a heart for missions and so this is one of the ways I can express it. I hope you like it!

The Lifetime Story Challenge at faithsister.com is issuing a challenge to leave a legacy of our faith through scrapbooking or faithbooking for all of 2010. It sounds very interesting. I can't wait to start! I hope some of you out there will also take the challenge and see what God unfolds in your life through this challenge next year.

In the beginning... God....

I was web surfing the other day, researching the fine art of scrapbooking (a new hobby I am about to begin) and I read an article on Faithbooking, a way of documenting your faith in a very creative way. So I decided to try my hand at this new creative endeavor, with the hope that, as God encourages me and strengthens my faith by reminding me what He has done in my life, I might also be able to encourage others in their own walks of faith and into deeper relationships with the living God.

So.... let's get up and start walking!
